The Laetus success story starts with PHARMA-CODETM, the first established system for the automatic inspection of packaging materials. That positioned us as a pioneer in the testing of pharmaceutical packaging. Our most prominent product, ARGUS, set the standard for packaging security and its level of recognition now makes it a classic brand product.

POLYPHEM hit the market in 1987 as the first camera system available for filling material inspection. Today, POLYPHEM is a global best-seller.

Our ISO 9001 certification in 1994 significantly improved our quality management systems. Since the development of the GAMP Guide, Laetus has carried out all production on that standard.

In 1999, we developed and introduced an innovative modular system - the Web technology (wt). Web Technology unifies both classical code readers and cameras for printing and filling control into a single Ethernet network.

In 2006, Laetus moved from the Romaco Group to the Coesia Group. The resulting group-wide innovations, such as the shared development of the Secure Track and Trace solution with our sister company G.D., have worked to the outstanding benefit of our customers.

In 2009, a study on Braille reading confirmed the status of Laetus as an innovation leader.
