INSPECT wt
Multifunctional camera system for reading barcodes and plain writing as well as for the inspection of additional information such as colour, label and package leaflet insert. The combination of high-resolution cameras with code readers, a compact high performance computer and an easy to operate touch screen ensures reliable inspection, thus providing the highest degree of packaging security. Thanks to the use of LED technology, the lighting systems are maintenance free and cost effective as well as boasting a long operating life. INSPECT wt offers a multitude of different types of lighting for a variety of materials - including light sensitive items.
POLYPHEM® wt
This efficient colour camera system for online monitoring of blister packing machines features high camera resolution and light quality coupled with exceptional precision and user-friendliness. Colour, format and size as well as the placement of the blister pack contents can be separately registered and reliably checked.
PrintSpect
PrintSpect@MV100: This compact packaging machine ensures correct product guidance, thus enabling precise printing of folding boxes – which, in turn, improves efficiency levels in production operations. Laetus has equipped the MV100 with the high-performance PrintSpect Track & Trace system, which facilitates smooth running of the marking and verification process. The machine can be used as a stand-alone unit or be easily integrated into existing packaging lines.
BrailleSpect
To fulfil the need of inspection of Braille, especially if applied online, Laetus developed a system to read and inspect the 3-dimensional information of the Braille. Beside the requirement to check the Braille for correct contents and language, a high attention was taken for the possibility to analyse also the Braille dots for correct diameter, height and volume – of course without the need to reduce the machine speed when operating a Braille online inspection. Therefore the system must allow to inspect even during an object speed of up to 200 m/min. Traditional camera systems need a high effort to detect this 3D information in a reliable way from the background suppressing the background colour.
With the Laetus system the 3D laser triangulation technology is used to extract the Braille from the background and offers the advantage to get the full 3D information while being independent of the colours used in the printed background. The 3D camera is very compact and can be used even inside small packaging machines.
