Help against product counterfeiting now comes from Laetus.
The "Secure Track & Trace" concept, an individual serial number (unique ID) is produced and, during the production process, is affixed as a code and in plain text on the box. This ID can be checked by Internet, phone or mobil phone in a database.
However, even such an ID can still be copied. There are, in addition to counterfeit drugs, also a large number of manipulated preparations, such as expired or regional drugs, which have been re-labeled, or inferior goods, which have been packaged in original boxes.
For this reason, Laetus proposes checking with "net and false bottom". Not only the box containing the drug, but also the shrink wrapped untis and even the cardboard boxes in which the drugs are shipped to the distributor, are provided with their own ID number. A gapeless pedigree, the "e-pedigree", is thus formed which ensures complete control of the delivery chain.
The ID of the box can be linked at any time to a concrete distribution station and authenticated. Only when both values: box ID and reference source, fit together, does the database give the green light and provide certainly that the drug in hand is absolutely reliable.

Marking and Controlling in One System
With MARK & VERIFY, Laetus combines these two steps in just one system. A serial number is printed on the pharmaceutical packaging and then in the next step verified with INSPECT wt, the multifunctional camera system from Laetus.

Printer Operation via the wt-System

Collect, Save and Export Variable Data
To protect against product imitation, it is not enough to print unique serial numbers of pharmaceuticals packaging and to control these. The data must also be saved and managed in order to thus guarantee a data base for the entire delivery chain. For this, Laetus has developed DATA CAPTURE, which is fully integrated into the Laetus web technology.

International Phonecard Tracking (IPTS)
With the International Phonecard Tracking System IPTS Laetus has developed a method, to identify countefeit phonecards quickly and securely.
The serial number of each card is captured and stored in a database. During the packaging of the card bundles in the database is recorded, which card is plugged in which bundle. On the basis of the bundle label the way of each card can be tracked back up to the retailer.
A specially developed database retains and assigns the numbers to a defined bundle, prints and applies a label on the package.
TRACKING wt
TRACKING wt can help to protect you against fake products and their financial effects. By recording individual pack numbers, it ensures your products are uniquely traceable - from individual packs to pallets and beyond.
Performance of TRACKING wt:
- Applies marking data as product ID, collective ID or dispatch unit ID in form of barcode (1D/2D, UV code), plain text (OCR) or RFID.
